General Terms and Conditions

DEPOSIT

A deposit of £30 is required to secure us to provide your chair covers OR floristry
A deposit of £75 is required to secure us to provide your floristry goods and chair covers/ other goods. Under no circumstances will a date will be held without the payment of the deposit. Your date will only be confirmed once the deposit has cleared, and no guarantee is given that your date will be available.
DEPOSITS are non refundable.

When you are given your final balance, your full desposit will be deducted from the amount outstanding.

BALANCE PAYMENTS

Without exception the balance of your goods must be paid at latest 7 days before your wedding date. Adjustments in numbers will be accepted


HIRE GOODS

By the HIRER we mean the person (or people) who attended a personal consultation and agreed to the hire of goods, or in the event that the transaction was arranged by email, the person named on the contact.
BY GOODS we mean any tangible property which is owned by wedding wow and which we agree you can rent, including but not limited to such items as chair covers, light curtains, vases, linen, candelabra's etc. Goods are hired on a 24 hourly rate. Goods which are not available for collection 24 hours after the agreed time of delivery may be subject to a further charge (NB please ensure your venue is open and aware of collection times)

The HIRER is resonsible for the hire goods at all times once they have been delivered, regardless of their location. 

Where the HIRE GOODS are damaged or lost, the HIRER is wholly responsible for the replacement value of the goods, a full list of which appears under a title of 'replacement values' below.
You will be notified of damages and missing items within 12 hours of us collecting goods.

BOND 
A bond wlil be required before we deliver goods. In the event that all goods are returned to Wedding wow undamaged the bond will be returned fully in the manner in which it was paid.
Where HIRE GOODS are damaged or missing, the replacement value of the goods (shown below) will be deducted from the bond, and any remaining monies returned to the customer. 
Where the value of goods missing or broken exceeds the bond held by wedding wow, the full bond will be retained, and any deficit requested from the customer by way of email invoice. Where the invoice remains unpaid after 28 days, legal action will be taken to recover the outstanding debt. The customer will remain liable for the outstanding difference until fully repaid, and any court costs, or legal fee,s will be added to the amount outstanding.

FAILURE OF GOODS

In the unlikely event that goods supplied by wedding wow fail during the event due to electrical or battery problems, please notify us immediately, or leave a message on the answerphone which is on 24 hours a day. Where possible we will attend and rectify the problem. Whilst Wedding wow are in no way responsible for failure of batteries or electrical items, we may,  where faults cannot be rectified,  consider it appropriate to refund some or all of the costs associated  with the hire of that item only, from the time of the report to us.  Refunds will never exceed the total of the amount paid for hire of the failed goods, and no compensation will be paid for disappointment etc. No requests for partial refunds will be considered if we are not notified at the time of failure.

In the event that goods you have reserved are no longer available, we will try to obtain a replacement. Where this is not possible, we are in no way responsible and no compensation will be offered.  


FLORALIGHTS which are placed inside floral arrangments are not covered by fault guarantees and are not guarateed in any way to stay alight once placed inside the arrangement. They rarely fail, but in the event that they do, wedding wow are not responsible and will not make any refunds.

FRESH FLOWERS & FRESH FLOWER ESTIMATED PRICES.

Flower are perishable goods and therefore excluded from the 7 day cooling off period under the sale of goods act. With the exception of a handful of customer images (which are clearly marked as not our work) the images shown to customers during consultations, on our website, and on our facebook page are all of our own floristry work. 
We always aim to provide bouquets which match customer requirements. Where possible we urge customers to provide a picture of the bouquet they want, clearly indicating the colours required, and any flowers they want to avoid. 
Due to the nature of the floral industry it is sometimes impossible to get the flowers requested by the customer. In this event, we reserve the right to substitute requested flowers with other flowers. We will always aim to maintain the overall appearance of the chosen arrangement.
Please understand that flower seasons can change, and prices are given to us on a DAILY basis. Therefore it is occasionally not possible to provide your chosen item at the estimate given.
In the event that flowers are more expensive that the estimate given, the customer will be notified by email at least 3 days before the event, and given the option to pay the additional fee for the chosen flowers, or have the flowers substitutes and for the price of the arrangement to remain the same as the estimate given.
Whilst this is rare, it CAN alter estimates by up to 25%. 


FLOWER COLOURS
Colours of flowers vary between growers and with season, and if an exact colour match is required the customer should chose an artificial flower which we can guarantee to colour match, and which can be seen a week before the wedding.

CHAIR COVERS
Staining through red wine and food are normal, you will not be charged. Damages through fire, candlewax and heels through seats of chairs will be charged at replacement value below. Missing sashes and covers: we will make attempts to recover these by liaising with hotel staff but in the event that several sashes or covers are missing we will notify you within 7 days, and give you a further 14 days to recover these from the hotel. In the event that sashes and covers are not returned to us within 21 days of the event we will invoice you for the outstanding amount as per schedule below.

DAMAGES
A member of wedding wow team always deliver your goods, and you are requested to check them immediately. In the unlikely event of damage to or faults with bouquets being seen, the customer must notify the member of staff delivering immediately. 
Bouquets are fresh and delicate and should be handled/ laid down with respect and care. No claims for damages will be entertained unless we are notified upon delivery.

DELIVERY
Delivery times agreed with customers are given in good faith are generally correct. We are not  responsible for change of delivery times due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, traffic, mechanical failure to name a few) 

LIABILITY

Wedding wow shall not be responsible for injury or damage to persons or property arising from any goods
under hire. The hirer will be responsible for ensuring the chair covers and sashes are fitted correctly to
prevent any injury. We shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from willful damage,
abnormal usage conditions, failure to follow our instruction (whether oral or in writing), misuse or alteration or repair of the linen without our approval. Where the size has been selected online, we carry no liability should the covers not fit. Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by our
negligence, we shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation or any implied warranty, condition
or other term, or any duty at common law or under these terms and conditions, for any special,
indirect or consequential damage.
REPLACEMENT VALUES
The cost of replacement is payable in the event that your hire goods are lost, stolen or damaged. Replacement costs are in addition to any hire fees already paid, and are set out below. Prices are PER ONE of the specified item.

By using wedding wow, The HIRER agrees to these terms and conditions and agrees to pay replacement values as set out above.
